How can we help you?
When it comes to your health, there’s no such thing as a silly question! Below are a few of our frequently asked questions. Feel free to call our office at 716-772-7500 and we’ll be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
When you have a consultation with Dr. Kaplansky, he will go over the best options for your orthodontic treatment. What will work best depends on what you want for your smile. If you are making cosmetic improvements often requires different treatment than if you are looking to correct your occlusion (bite).
At our Gasport, NY dental office, we offer traditional orthodontics as well as Invisalign.
Traditional orthodontics - These are the braces with the brackets and wires that you probably think of when you think about orthodontics. Traditional orthodontics is still one of the best ways to correct orthodontic conditions including misaligned teeth, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Brackets and wires come in traditional metal silver and ceramic tooth-colored brackets.
Invisalign – We use Invisalign to treat simple orthodontic cases and cosmetic orthodontic cases. If you are looking to improve the appearance of your smile and you do not have any major occlusal problems with your bite, Invisalign might be the best option for you. Invisalign allows for discreet, invisible orthodontic treatment. We use a series of plastic trays that gently move your teeth over time. Invisalign is the perfect way to address teeth that have gaps or are mildly misaligned.
